Abstract:Global food securityfaces multiplechallenges including climate change,resource constraintsand growing demand. Traditional breeding methods,limited by long cycles,low efciencyand high resource consumption,are increasingly inadequatetomeetmodemnagriculturalrequirements.Intellgentbio-breeding,whichdeeply integratesbiotechnology(BT), informationtechnology(IT)andatificial intellgence(AI),utilizesbigdata,intelligencealgorithms,andsmartquipment to shiftthebreedingparadigm from experience-based selection todata-drivendesign.Theadvances were mainlyanalyzed in multi-modaldataintegration,agriculturalbio-largemodels,AI-nabledgeneediting,syntheticbiotechnologyandinteligent breedingdecisionsystems,withanalysisof theirapplications incrop breeding.Itoutlined threedevelopmenttrends: platformization,model-driven appoaches andautonomy.These insights should provide valuable guidance for establishing a self-reliant and competitive intelligent breeding technology system for the future.
