Abstract：This study aims to explore therole of standardization in improving the servicequalityof inspection and testing institutions.Through literatureresearch andcase analysis，it systematicallanalyzes the mechanismof standardization in regulating operational processes，optimizing resource allocation，and strengthening technical colaboration，and elaborates onthe keypoints ofeach stage of standard writing andthe methods of standard retrieval in detail.The results indicate thatstandardization can significantly improve the dataaccuracy，service efficiency， and comparabilityof inspection and testing institutions，which isof great significance forpromoting the high-quality development of the inspection and testing industry.
