Abstract： The standardization of highway safety resilience evaluation indicators，as acore means of enhancing a highway system's abilityto respondto risks，rationalizes the assessment ofresilience levels by establishing acommon evaluation benchmark.This paper systematically analyzes the development and application of standardization of evaluation indicators throughout theentire lifecycleof highwayresilience and proposes therelevant steps forits implementation.Furthermore，drawing on a case study，it explores how to utilize the resultsof the standardized evaluation to identifytheresilience weaknesses ofahighway system.This providesascientific basis fordecisionmaking inhighwayplanning，maintenance，andemergencymanagement，withthe goalofachievingacomprehensive enhancement of highway safety resilience.
