Abstract： Atthe endofthe QingDynastyand thebeginningoftheRepublicofChina，more and more attention was paid to the isue of women's education.Tongcheng scholars who experienced thegreatchanges ofthetimes have becomeeasiertoface thesocialenvironment，andteirownconceptshavealsohangd.Teyrecogizetheneedforwomen'seducation，bothintesofide logicalorigisandpracticalneds.Theynotonlyagreewithwomen'seducation，believingthatwomen'seducationisagenaltrend ofsocialdevelopment，butalsobelievethat women'seducationshouldbebasedonthecontentofmoraleducationsuchateal affairsandwomen'suationIddition，teyfvouredtheicusionofirlsitefoaldcatiosysteandindditioto familyducation，advocatedtheoeningofgirls'shools，indicatingtheir increasedacceptanceofwomen'sultiplesocialientities.
