The Cultural Gene and Derivative Path of the Shui ethnic group's Applique Embroidery Technique under the Perspective of Rooting Theory

Abstract:AppliqueembroideryplaysanimportantroleinthefolkcostumesoftheShuiethnicgroupandthefarminglifeinthe oldtimes.Itsprocssof"takingthemarginalmaterials,cuttngandpastingthedep-meaningpatters,andswingandembroidering thepracticalreinforcement”containsteunceasingnationalartisticqualitiesandationalcharacteristicculturalgenes,aditisan indispensablelivingsampleinthespectrumofthehandicraftsoftheminorityethnicgroupsinthesouth.However，duetochanges inthemodersocialcontext,itisfacingthecrisisofbeinglost.TakingQiannanregion'sShuiethnicapliqueembroideryskillas theresearchobectaeootigtoryeldesigatiodematicdigofliteaystorcalataal modeloftheculturalgenesoftheShuiethnicapliqueembroideryskillisconstructed,andtheculturalgenesofteSuiethnic appliqueembroderysillarestematicallyayedwhichrovidestoreticalasisfortelingritanceoftliqe embroideryskill.Thentherelevantderivationpathsaredesignedsothat this exquisiteandpracticalculturalgeneofShuiethnic folkcloth embroideryskillscanbe inherited.
