Analysis of the Current Status and Development Path of the Apple Industry in the Yili Reclamation Area

Abstract:Asa core apple productionarea of the Xinjiang productionand construction corps (hereinafter referred to as“XPCC"),the Yili Reclamation area serves as a key benchmark for the development of the

XPCC's forestry and fruit industry.With the current core objectiveof“establishing visible,learnable,and replicable demonstration gardens for standardized apple production”,the local apple industry hasachieved significant scale,and become a pilar industry supporting the economic growth of the reclamation area and the income increase of farmers.However,against the backdrop of consumption upgrading and agricultural modernization,the industry still faces challenges such as dispersed regional distribution, weak procesing capacity,and insuficient brand influence.Based on field surveys and statistical data,this paper systematically analyzed the climatic advantages,planting distribution characteristics,and output eficiency variations of the apple industry in the Yili Reclamation Area.Drawing on global trends in apple industry development (e.g., dwarfing dense planting systems),it further delved into core isues hindering industrial development,and proposed targeted development strategies,including variety optimization,technology integration,and model innovation.The aim was to facilitate the transitionof the local apple industry from“scale expansion”to “qualityandeficiency enhancement”,providing practical insights forrural revitalizationand high-quality agricultural development in the XPCC.

伊犁垦区是新疆苹果种质资源分布的重要区域,作为北疆地区苹果种植最大市,苹果是垦区林果业发展的主导树种,2023年伊犁垦区苹果面积 3 308.32hm2 占垦区果树总面积的 24.26% ;产量11.27万t,产量占比达32.39% ,产值6.34亿元,产值占比达 21.55% 。(剩余7962字)
