Innovationand Practice ofHigh-Yield Cultivation Techniquesfor Ansha Yam

Abstract:Ansha Chinese yam isalocal variety of yam (Huishan).It is mainly produced in Ansha town,Yong’ ancity,andrecognizedasa geographical indication product of Yong'ancity,Fujian province.Ansha Chinese yamhas distinct requirements for environmental factors and cultivation techniques at diferent growth and development stages.Based on its botanical growth characteristics,this paper summarized the“adaptive” cultivation experience covering aspects such as planting site selection,soil preparation and fertilization, seed tuber treatment，sowing,field management，pest and disease control,and harvesting，aiming to provide a reference for Ansha Chinese yam growers.
