Innovation in“ Five Improvements" High-Quality and High-Yield Cultivation Techniques of Stevia rebaudiana Following Garlic Stubble

Abstract:Stevia rebaudiana isone of crucial sources of natural zero-calorie sweeteners,and has been globally recognized as the third-generation natural and health-promoting sugar crop.It finds extensive applications acrossa wide range of sectors including food,pharmaceuticals,healthcare,and chemical industries.S. rebaudiana following garlic stubble refers to an eficient intercropping mode that relies on the garlic planting advantages of Jinxiang county,Shandong province,combines the growth characteristics of S.rebaudiana,and makes use of the growth time difference between garlic and S 、rebaudiana to carry out intercropping in the middle and late stages of garlic growth.Focusing on technical links such as cutting propagation seedling raising in greenhouses,precision irrigationand optimized fertilization,this study had continuously optimized andrefined relevant technologies,and innovatively proposed the "Five Improvements"technology for S⋅ rebaudiana following garlic stubble.Theapplicationof this technologycould reduce the dosage of pesticides and chemical fertilizers,improvewater and fertilizeruse effciency,enhance theyield and quality of S.
rebaudiana,and promote the green,healthy and sustainable development of the industry.
