AbstractBovinerumenfluidwereintroducedintoAnMBRforbiologicaladitiontoallviate membranecontaminationcausedbyAnMBR duringuse.Teesultssdtatomparedith-bologcalditioteloicalditiosiicantlycreasdeyeldadott ofaceticacid，rspetivelyologicaladditionefectivelyreducedthesudgeviscosityandtheumberofparticlesintegeof 10. 0- 1000.0μm ，whichsloweddowntheformationof sludgecakelayer.Aditionaly，thedecreaseofMSSandMLVSSundertheconditionof bio logical addition wasbeneficial toslow dow theformationof gellayer，andthetime toreachthelimit membrane presure（ 35kPa ）was prolonged to 27d TheSEM-EDXanalysis of themembrane surface structurefoundthat themudcakelayerstructureunderbiologicaladditionwas morelosecompaediho-bologicaladitiondtedreaseofganicementsindiatedthatthganicolltiononthae surfacewasrducedMreovrthblogicaladitionpromotedteinceaseofterelatieabundanceoffuctionalmicroogansstatde graded macromolecularsubstances.ThebiologicaladitioofbovinerumenfluidinAnMBRcouldefectivelyreduce membranefouling.
