Pharmacognostic Identification of the Uyghur Medicinal RedRaisinand Quantitative Determination of Its Oleanolic Acid

Abstract:ObjectiveTostudyestablishmethodsforthePharmacognosticEvaluationof theUyghurMedicinalMaterialRedRaisinandDeterminationofItsOleanolicAcidContent.MethodTheoriginalplantsofRedRaisinsweresurveyedandtheoriginalplant specimenswerecollctedthro-ughfieldinvestigation.ThepharmacognosyofRedRaisinswasstudiedbymorphologiccaracteristics, characteridentification,microscopicidentificationsandTCidentfication.AHPLCUVmethodforleanolicacidinRedRaisins was established by using Agilent 1260 liquid chromatography, Agilent ZORBAX SB - C18 column ( 250mm×4 .6 mm, 5μm ), methanol-water (89:11)as mobile phase;the column temperature was 25°C ;And the detection wavelength of UV detector was 220nm , injection volume 10μL ;the flow rate of 1 . O mL/min. Result The medicinal material of Red Raisins has a clear origin, distinctharacteristics,ndwell-definedmicroscopieatures,withclealyvisiblespotsontinlayerchromatographyThestandard curve of oleanolic acid was Y =2.1454X+6.5728 , R2=0.9999 . The linear relationship of oleanolic acid was good in the range of 35.35 -707 μg/mL .Theaverage recoverywas 101.41% ,RSD was 1.04% .Conclusion The pharmacognostic identification can provide a theoretical basis forquality controlandmedical material supplyof RedRaisins for pharmaceutical factory.
