Abstract：Diabetic peripheral neuropathy（DPN）refers toachroniccomplicationcharacterizedbysymptoms associated withperipheralervedfunctioindiabeticpatints.Itistpicallymanifestedasbilatealsymetricalumbss，pinandhthsia， whichseriouslyimpairspatients’physicalandmentalhealth.TraditionalChinese medicine（TCM）hasdistinctadvantagsinaeviatingclinicalsymptomsandimprovingpatientsqualityoflfe.Tispapersummarizesteclinical treatmentideasforDbasedonthe theoryf“deficientqistagnation”，andconcludesthatthecorepathogenesisis“spleen-kidneydeficiencycomplicatedbytoxinobstruction".ItisproposedthatthebsicpathogenesisofDPisapatenofrotdeficiencyandbranchexcess：terootdeficiencyis mainlyariutedtospleenidneyisuiciency，whilethranchexcessostlymanfesdasplegurbidity，blosisad dry-heatblockingthemeridians.Thispathogenesisisonsistentwiththeoveralltheoreticalcootationof“deficientqistagation” -acondtionwhererotdeficiencyleadstobranchexcess.Onthisbasis，thefundamental therapeuticprinciplesforDParedeterminedatonifyingthespleenandkidney，detoxifyingandunblockingthecolaterals，withthemodified Huangi ChongtengDecoction combined with Xuantu Pill as the recommended formula.

糖尿病周围神经病变（diabeticperipheralneu-ropathy，DPN）作为糖尿病（diabetesmellitus，DM）最普遍的慢性并发症之一，在我国呈现高发态势，流行病学调查显示其患病率已达 53%[1] 该病症以对称性肢体麻木、针刺样疼痛、感觉减退或异常为主要临床表现，是导致糖尿病患者足部溃疡、感染性坏疽乃至截肢的核心危险因素[2]，显著降低患者生存质量。（剩余6285字）
