Introduction performance and cultivation techniques of Stella fig in the Jining area

Abstract： Stella fig is native to Italy and later introduced to the United States. In 2O15， Jining City introduced this variety from the United States. After years of observation， it has been found that the fruit is large， with a soluble solids content as 17% to 20% ，and an excellent taste.The Stella fig has strong early fruiting and high yielding characteristics， producing both summer and autumn fruits， with autumn fruits being the main crop in the Jining area. Under good management， mature trees can yield 15 to 20kg per tree， and 1 500 to 2 000kg per 666.7m2 ，demonstrating excellent productivity. It can be popularized and cultivated in southwestern Shandong and other regions with similar climate and soil conditions to Jining.
