The current situation and thoughts on the development of tea industry in Yantai City

Abstract： The tea industry is one of the advantageous and characteristic industries of Yantai， as well as a functional industry that drives farmers’ income growth and prosperity. The current development status of tea industry in Yantai City was systematically reviewed in terms of policy support， technological innovation， development of specialty products， and brand building. It also identified several pressing challenges， including lack of local characteristic varieties，a small number of leading enterprises， weak brand influence， and imperfect management system. In response， the paper proposed countermeasures and suggestions focusing on strengthening varieties， enhancing leadership，boosting sales，valuing brands，emphasizing culture， and focusing on management.
