Abstract:Drought is oneof the mostsevere abiotic stresss limiting crop production.Dissectingthe genetic basis of droughtresistanceandidentifying keygenesand molecular markersareofgreat significance forbreeding drought-resistant swetpotato varieties.Inthis study,anFpopulationconsisting of212 progenies wasusedasexperimental material forthe identificationofdrought-resistantphenotypesunderthearidenvironmentinXinjiang.Basedontheswetpotatosingle nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)genetic map,the composite interval mapping (CIM)methodwasadoptedto detectone quantitative traitlocus(QTL)qDRO4-1associatedwithdroughtresistance inswetpotato,witha phenotypiccontributionrate of 11.1% .Further gene predictionand functional annotation were performed on the confidence interval of qDRO4- I ,and ten drought-resistant candidate genes werescreenedout,whose functions were involved in stressadaptation pathwayssuch asion transport,lipid metabolism,glycosylation modification,oxidative stress responseand WRKY transcriptionalregulation.This studyisthefirsttomapthedrought-resistant QTLsinswetpotatoandsystematicallyidentifyitscandidategenes,which providesa theoretical basis for the dissectionof drought-resistant molecular mechanismsand molecular breeding.
