Experimental Design of Shape Reconstruction Based on Optical 3D Morphology and 3D Printing Technology

Abstract: This paper designs an undergraduate comprehensive experiment project applicable to majors such as optics andindustrialdesignincollegsanduniversities.Basedonthenon-contactoptical tree-dimensionalmorphologymeasurement principle,theexperimentuses FourierTransformProflometry(FTP)toobtain thephase informationassciatedwith surface heightariationof theobjecttobemeasured.Next,themedianflteringmethodandthegradientinformationofimagesareused toremove bursfromtheedgesofdeformedgratingimagesafterheightiformationrecovery.Finall,thesurface3Dmophology modelfthemeasuredobjectisprintedby3Dprinting technology.This experimentdemonstratestheentire procesfromoptical measurement of physical objects,and computer image processing,to the 3D printing of physical models.It helps students deepentheir theoretical understandingof3D morphology measurement in information optics,master the methods for creating 3D physical models,and leam 3Dprinting technologythrough practice.Thedesign notonly extends the practicalaplicationof measurement results of information optics experiment, but also makes the experiment more vivid and interesting.
