Abstract: In some special application scenarios, GNSS receivers need to use dual antennas to solve the PVT (Position, Velocity, Time). But due to the different time delays of different antennas and receiver hardware channels, the hardware delay of the dual antennas needs to be calibrated in advance during PVT solution. In this paper, a PVT solution method based on dual antennas is proposed, and the calculation process is derived. In this method, the time delay of antenna hardware is calculated in real time as an unknown quantity, and there is no need to calibrate the time delay of antenna hardware, and the PVT solution accuracy is independent of the hardware time delay between the two antennas. Finally, the DSP+FPGA architecture receiver is used to physically test and verify the method.
