Abstract: Aiming at the problem that the sensitivity of the phase interferometer direction finding system is affected by the detection of time domain parameters, a signal processing method is proposed to obtain the coherent gain by using the coherence of the interferometer channel to improve the detection sensitivity of the system. The basic principle of the proposed method is using the frequency and azimuth estimation results obtained in the frequency domain, Digital Beamforming is performed on the received data of each channel of the interferometer to obtain the coherent gain and improve the received signal-to-noise ratio. At the same time, the arrival time and pulse width of the target signal are measured by Digital Beamforming data, so as to further improve the system sensitivity. The rationality and effectiveness of the proposed method are verified by mathematical derivation and numerical simulation. The simulation results show that the improvement effect of the proposed method on the system sensitivity is related to the number of interferometer channels, and the influence of frequency domain parameter measurement error on the performance of the method is not significant.
