Promoting the Spirit of Entrepreneurs through Corporate Confucianism to Build Social Enterprises

Abstract： In an era where contemporary business civilization is undergoing profound reflection and reconstruction，a new corporate paradigm is quietly emerging： the social enterprise. This type of enter prise does not take maximizing shareholder interests as its sole goal; instead， it places social value，environmental harmony，and economic benefits on an equally important footing. How to cultivate an environment that nurtures such enterprises？The Confucian thought in China’s fine traditional culture， especially the construction of“Corporate Confucianism"，provides us with a unique and wise management philosophy system. Corporate Confucianism advocates entrepreneurial spirits such as the balance of righteousness and profit，self-cultivation to stabilize others，win-win cooperation， benevolence towards people and care for all things， continuous self-improvement，and great virtue carrying all things.It points out an effective practical path and injects inexhaustible impetus for the construction of social enterprises， solves some practical problems faced by current corporate management and development，and also provides a Chinese solution for the development of global industrial and commercial civilization.
