Exploration and practice of the teaching mode of “Principles of Automatic Control ” based on “ project-riven case based integration"

Abstract: In response to the problems existing in the traditional teaching of the“Principles of Automatic Control”,such as the detachment of theory from practice and the weak engineering application ability of students,this paper proposes and practices a new teaching model of“projectdriven-case based integration". This model takes typical control systems (such as the wheel steering PID and the electric furnace temperature control system) as core cases,decomposes the course knowledge points and integrates them into a series of project tasks that progress from simple to complex. Through the teaching closed loop of“project-driven-case analysis”, students are guided to shift from passively accepting knowledge to actively exploring and constructing a knowledge system. Teaching practice shows that this model effectively enhances students’learning initiative, engineering thinking ability and overall grasp of control theory,providing a referenceable solution for addressing the pain points in control-related course teaching.
