Impact and mechanisms of artificial intelligence technology on organizational resilience

Abstract： In the context of China's ongoing digital transformation，artificial inteligence （AI） technology has emerged as a pivotal catalyst for corporate transformation and the attinment of competitive advantage. This study utilizes a multiple regresson analysis model to examine the impact of AI levels on organizational resilience. The model is employed using panel data from Chinese A-share listed companies from 2O0l to 2O22，while controlling for factors such as nature of ownership and return on equity. The present study also investigates the moderating effect of equity ownership structure on the aforementioned relationship. The findings suggest that the implementation of artificial intelligence technology exerts a substantial positive influence on organizational resilience. However，the proportion of management shareholding exerts a negative moderating effect，signifying that as the proportion of management shareholding rises，the positive impact diminishes. Conversely， the proportion of institutional investor shareholding exerts a positive moderating effect， indicating that as the proportion of institutional investor shareholding increases，the positive impact strengthens. The study reveals the institutionalized moderating mechanism of equity structure in digital transformation，providing empirical evidence for the optimization of corporate governance structures，the enhancement of organizational resilience，and the formulation of related policies. The findings can guide listed companies in optimizing their equity structures and improving internal governance to continuously enhance their risk-resilience in the AI era.
