Abstract：Fuzhou City is rich in wetland resources，which play an important role in local economic construction and social development.Based on the results of the 2O21 land change survey and relevant data on wetland resoures in Fuzhou City，this paper analyzes the current status，type composition， biodiversity characteristics as well as the effectiveness of protection and management of its wetland resources. On this basis，the problems existing in the wetland development of Fuzhou City are sorted out，including the threatened ecological security，incomplete protection system，and lagging construction of the ecological monitoring system.Taking the long-term health and sustainable development of the wetland ecosystem as the goal，this paper proposes the construction of a wetland protection spatial pattern featuring“One Zone， One Belt，Five Axes and Multiple Spots”，aiming to provide a scientific basis for comprehensively consolidating and improving the efectiveness of wetland protection and guiding the work of wetland protection and restoration in a scientific manner in Fuzhou City.
