Abstract:[Objective]Thispaper focusesonthe studyandinterpretationofIECTS62565-5-3:2025,with theobjective offacilitatingits practicalimplementationandpromoting thelarge-scaleproductionandcommercialadoptionofsilicon nanosizdanode materials.[Methods]Asystematic analysis and detailed interpretationof the standardareconducted. The studyexplicitlylists 31keycontrolcharacteristics—encompassingphysical,chemical,electrochemical,and structuralaspects—alongwiththeircoresponding testmethods.Furthermore,amaturitymatrix isemployedtoassess and summarize the standardization readiness of existing test methods for each key characteristic.[Results] IEC TS 62565-5-3:2O25represents thefirstcomprehensive framework establishingkeycontrolcharacteristicsandmeasurement methods forsiliconnanosizedanode materials inlithium-ionbattries.This paperclearlyidentifiesandorganizesall31 indicatorsandassociated test standards,providinganessentialtechnical foundation for materialproductionandquality control.The maturity matrix offersa clear visualrepresentationof the currentstandardizationstatus of test methods for each characteristic.[Conclusion]This paperdemonstratesthatIECTS62565-5-3:2O25laysacrucial foundation for the standardizeddevelopmentof siliconnanosized anode materials.Basedon theanalysis,this paper provides constructive recommendations for future standardization efforts aimedat further advancingandrefining the framework for these materials,thereby supporting continued technological progressand industrial development in the field.
