Preparation of Calcium Carbonate Composite Materials and Their Adsorption of Fe3+

Abstract:Thisstudyimedtoinvestigatetheinfluence mechanismsofdopamine(DA)andsodiumalginate (SA)asregulatingagentsonte structure of calcium carbonate composites and their adsorption performance for F e3+ . By adjusting the concentrations of DA and SA,the regulatoryefectsostalasecrosuurendprticleistrbuifcboteesteatialleddd sorptionperforanceandcylinabiltoftetoompositeforFewerecompard.Thesultsshowedtatthedsoptionbavioof DA- CaCO3 conformedtotheFreundlichisotheraladsorptionodelindicatingitsheterogeneoussufaceandadsorptiondominatedbymultilayer physisorption and weak chemical interactions with I . In contrast,SA-CaCO3better followed the Langmuir isothermal adsorption model,sugestingielyfoceitesdoaesotiprocssdoatedlaiitheicald sorption capacity of 515.36mg/g .Cycling experiments further showed that SA-CaCO maintained a removal rate above 8O% towards F e3+ after 3

5 times of adsorption-desorption cycles, demonstrating a good regeneration stability.
