Abstract:Tissdtookbleachdbroadeafodchemicalpulpasthewmaterialandsystematicallyivestigatedthevaratiopaesf fiberdimensions,swellngdegree,solventuptake,andcomponentcontentofpulpintheNmethymorpholine-N-oxide/water(MO/H 24 ) system.The separation behavior and mechanisms of hemicellulose in chemical pulp under the NMMO/H 20 system were clarified. The resultsshowedtatNMMOcontentandtemperatureweretecoreparametesregulatingtheswelingehaviorofpulp.Theoptialsweingeffect was achieved at 1Oo ℃ with an NMMO mass fraction of 70% . The NMMO pretreatment process exhibited significant selective separation ofpulpcomponnts,ithteemicelloeemovalprocesssowingisticttidependence.Asubstantialamountofhemicelloeas dissolved within the initial 2 min of treatment,reducing its content in the pulp from 20.29% to 11.37% and enriching it to 98.22% in the filtrate.FurtheranalysisrevealedthatNMMOprimarilypromotesswelingthroughthphysicaldisruptionofthehydrogenbondnetworkbetwencellulose molecules,whilenosignificantchanges wereobservedinthechemicaltructureorcrystallineformofcelulose.
