Experimental Study on the Effect of Temperature on the Consolidation Characteristics of Alkali Slag

【Abstract】: Inorder to clarify the influence of temperatureonthedrainage consolidation characteristics of alkali slag,a GDS temperature controled advanced consolidation instrument was used to conduct aone-dimensional thermal consolidation permeability joint test on Tianjin alkali slag.The consolidation characteristics of alkali slag under diferent temperatures,consolidation pressures,and stepwise heating conditions were analyzed.The test results show that:in the range of 20~80 ∘C ,the permeability and compression of alkali slag increase with the increase of temperature;in the process of step-by-step temperature increase,the increase of temperature produces a positive excess pore water pressure in alkali slag,and the compression of alkali slag increases with the dissipation of pore pressure.
