Research on the Deformation Characteristics of Metro Foundation Pit Excavation Adjacent to Deep and Large Building Foundation Pits

【Abstract】:Aiming at thedeformationcontrolof metrofoundation pitexcavationadjacenttodeepandlargebuilding foundation pits,the paper uses the three-dimensional finite element numerical simulation method to analyze the spatial deformation characteristics of the building caused by the excavation of the metro foundation pit under diffrent construction conditions.The research shows that the adjacent closed foundation pit can effectively control soil displacementand significantly improve the safetyof metro foundation pitconstruction.The horizontal displacement caused bymetro foundation pit excavation will increase the stress risk of theadjacent basement,and protection measures such as strengthening the structural stiffness or seting up temporary supports should be taken.When the metro foundation pit is excavated afterthe building has been completed,uneven settlement is likely tooccur.The design of the foundation pit support should be optimized and monitoring should be strengthened to control the settlement.
