Abstract Using F1 progeny from a hybrid between Cymbidium ‘ 875′′ and Cymbidium goeringi “Maoze Shuixian” to analyze phenotypic traits based on a major gene plus polygene mixed inheritance model.The results showed that in the F1 population,the 11 phenotypic phenotypic traits were extensively isolated,with a coefficient of variation ranging from 10.31% to 31.16% .With the exception of leaf length,all other traits’midparentheterotcusmostatedfntdifecatOeveterobeltosisufotfoertaseefo erlongitudinaldiameeidlepallngtnddlesaldthereallsigficantlderetattOlevelLeaflgthfidth, flowerarrowlngthfowerlogiudialdametedlabelllengtherealldominatedbytoirsofditivedomiantajorsh heritability of major genes was 99.79% 98.45% 12.66% 98.61% and 96.10% ,respectively.The trait of middle sepal length,middle sepal width,and labellum width were dominated by two pairs of additive major genes.Major genes had heritabilities of 74.53% 43.25% ,and 89.06% , respectively.talodlsoraeeeateaepallgthdalsepalheoisditiedoatstat ic,two equal additive,and one pair of additive-dominant major gene models,with heritability of major genes at 96.99% 65.82% ,and 89.06% , respectivel.isuxplodioforatisiesecoeatoofdg erences for the selection of parents and breeding of new varieties in orchid.
