Abstract:Verticaladshaveaigniicantimpactonthmchaicalproprtisofmagnetoheologicalelastomrs(ME)barings,buthe hasbenliteeseachosiderigteifluenesoferticalloadsoEbaringByaddingvicatigodstoeareicallos and permanentmagnets toprovideaconstantmagneticfieldaMEisolatorwithastructureofalteatingstackingofMEsetsadseel plates WasdsedndmaufactudToatrasgertaleaingapacitydirectioalljustablesartifsshacal performancetestsoftheisolatorunderdiferentfreqencies,amplitudes,curentsadweightsreconducted.Theshearfoefecie stiffess,equivalentdamping,anddampingratiooftheisolatorwereanalyedTeresutsshowthatthemechanicalperformanceof the isolatorwiththverticalcoetigrosisstableandthelateralstifess,sheafoeequivalentdamping,nddampngratioarebidirectionallyadjustable.
