Topic Identification and Content Analysis of Online Rumor Governance Research in China：A Comparative Analysis Using BERTopic and CiteSpace

Abstract：With therapiddevelopmentofartificial intelligence technology，the generationmechanismsand dissemination pattrns of online rumors have become increasinglycomplex，posing new challenges to cyberspace governance.Taking 1，405scholarly papers related toonline rumor governance included in the CNKIdatabase from 2015to 2024astheresearchdata，this studyadopts theBERTopic topic modeling methodand CiteSpace visualization tooltoconductacomparativeaalysisofthepasedevolution，eyworddistribution，esearchhotspots，ndcotent structure of studies in this field.This study clarifies the knowledge system and evolutionary trends inthe fieldof onlinerumor governance，and providesa theoreticalreference for optimizing governance models and enhancing the effectiveness of cyberspace governance.
