Improved IVY algorithm to solve two-echelon location routing problem of agricultural products transportation

Abstract:Toaddress thedemanduncertainty,cargolossrisk,andopentransportatioroutesinagriculturalproductlogistics, the studyconstructedamulti-bjectivetwo-echelonlocation-routing problem(2E-LRP)modelunderanopen-path framework thatincorporatedcargodamagecosts,uncertaindemand,andtimewindowconstraints.Then,basedonthecharacteristicsof the model,thestudydesignedan improvedIVYalgorithm(EIVY)tosolve the problem effciently.Thealgorithmadopteda hybridreal-codedencoding strategy,integratedfastnon-dominatedsortingandcrowdingdistancemechanisms,andcombined multipleadaptivestrategies withlocalsearchand hybrid mutationoperators.Finall,the studyconducted experiments onextended instancesderivedfromtheProdhonbenchmarkdataset,andcomparedtheEIVYalgorithmwithIVY,PKOandMSAalgorithms.Theresults showthatEIVYachieves superior performance in terms of solution quality,convergenceaccuracy,and multi-objectivebalance.Thesefindingsconfirmthepracticalityof theproposedmodelandtheefectivenessof theimprovedalgorithmin solving complex agricultural logistics optimization problems.
