Abstract： This paper focuses on Failure Mode and Efect Analysis （FMEA） for high-speed vessels.It compares the emphasis of FMEA requirements across domestic and international classification societies. Combining the characteristics of high-speed firefighting vessls，the analysis process ofFMEA is introduced， including system analysis and scope definition，failure mode identificationand impact chainconstruction，failure mode classification， and severity assessment. Based on China Classification Society （CCS） requirements，typical systems of high-speed firefighting vessels are analyzed， providing reference for FMEA application.
