Research on Anti-Fatigue Structural Forms for Typical Joints in Column-Stabilized Platforms

Abstract: Taking a column-stabilized aquaculture platform as an example, this study focuses on typical connection forms between brace members and pontoon structures.The spectral fatigue analysis method is employed to evaluate the fatigue strengthof jointconfigurations,including embeddedversus lap-jointconnections and bracketreinforced joints.Results indicate thatthe joint formsignificantly impacts fatigue strength.The embedded connection provides beter structural continuityand markedly improves joint fatigue performance.Additionally, bracket reinforcement enhances the fatigue strength of joints.The methodology and conclusions presented herein offer valuable references for the design of typical joints in column-stabilized platforms.
