Influence of L-shaped corner excavation of special-shaped foundation pit on stratum disturbance

Abstract:The three-dimensional simulation model for L-shaped corner foundation pit is built,and the disturbance law of the bottom and side stratum at the L-shaped corner position during foundation pit excavation is analyzed,the influence range of the corner efect on the formation loosening area is figured out.The results show that:the boundary between the stratum loose area and the soil arch area is relatively obvious after the excavation of an L-shaped foundation pit,and the maximum depth of the loose area at the bottom of the corner area does not change significantly with the change of the excavation depth,and the influence of the corner effct on the stratum disturbance in the loose area decreases gradually with the increase of the excavation depth;the maximum depths of the loose area outside the pit on the external and internal corner sides of the corner area are about the excavation depth,and the influence range of the corner effect on the formation disturbance along the outside direction of the pit within the loose area decreases with the increase of depth;the stratum disturbance in the loose area at the inner side corner is significantly influenced by the support form near the pit corner,and the maximum influence range of the stratum disturbance along the excavation length direction by the corner ffect is slightly larger than that at the outer side corner,and both of them significantly decrease with the increase of depth.
