AbstractTomeettheload-bearingcapacityrequirementsofanindustrialworkshopstructurefollowingprocessadjustments,this papertakesthereinforcementprojectof arefiing workshopin Shandongasacaseexample tocompareandselectcommonlyused strengtheningschemes.Followingthecompletionoftheworkshop'smainstructure,localcolumnswerefoundtohaveinsufcientloadbearingcapacityduetoprocessmodifications.Bycomparing theaplicability,constructionduration,economiceficiency,and environmental impact of the cross section enlargement method,the fiber-reinforced polymer(FRP) strengthening method,and the externally bonded steel reinforcement method,the results indicate that: the cross section enlargement method involves extensive wet work,alngconstructionperiod,andchalengesincuringverticalcomponents;theFRPmethodisunsuitableforcoprsion membersandraisesconcersregardingdurability;theexterallyondedsteelreinforcementmethodofersadvantagessuchasrapid construction, significant improvement in load-bearing capacity,and minimal increase in cross section size. This method is better suitedtothesiteconditionsofthisproject,whichdemandsatightschduleandrequiresconsiderationofbothcompressonmember reinforcementandprotectionagainstcorosiveenvironments.BasedontheCodeforDesignofStrengtheningConcreteStructure(GB 50367-2013),thedesignandcalulationereconductedforexterallybondedsteelreinforcementofcolumnswithinsuficientload bearingcapacityKynstutionprocedusdualitytrolints,icludingsfcetreaet,seelfreistalldsie injectiondugrebatedetailEiingpcicmoatestatsfoentodieto structuralload-bearingapacityprovidingviabletchicalreferenceforsiilarindustrialworkshopcolunreinforcemntprocts.
