AbstractToaddressthechallengesofpoorbiodegradabilityanddificultyintreatingleachatefromagedmunicipalsolidwaste landfils,athree-dimensionalelectrocatalyticoxidationtechnologywasemployedforadvancedtreatment.Thestudyaimedto determintheoptimaloperating parametersofthesystemandinvestigatetheinfluenceof thecatalystontreatmentperformance. Experimentsweresystematicallyonductedtoxaminethefectsofactiontieapledvage,cuentdensityandcatalysttye ontheremovalficienciesofhemicaloxygenemand(OD),ammoniaroge,andtotalnitrogen.eesultsindicatetatuder the optimal conditions of a voltage of 9 V,a current density of 25mA/cm2 ,areaction time of12O min,and using a Cu-Fe Mn-based catalyst as particle electrodes,the removal rates for a leachate with initial concentrations of 8460mg/L COD,3 500 mg/L ammonia nitrogen, and 4 100mg/L total nitrogen reached 80% , 95% and 88% . This demonstrates a significant enhancement in the treatment efficiency of landfill leachate.
