Abstract: Freestyle skiing big air and slopestyle are emerging competitive events at the Olympic Winter Games. To promote the development of these disciplines, FIS has continuously optimized the competition scoring system. By analyzing the evolution of rules for freestyle skiing big air and slopestyle events, this study finds that based on the basic competition system, the scoring philosophy emphasizes the integration of subjectivity and objectivity, and new requirements have been put forward for the use of ski poles. Combined with the data of international high-level competitions from 2022 to 2024, the development trends of high-difficulty tricks in freestyle skiing big air and slopestyle are analyzed. In terms of scoring for difficult tricks, FIS advocates improving scoring efficiency and promoting technical advancement, emphasizing trick innovation over the mere pursuit of rotation numbers, developing complex grab tricks around different axes, and placing greater emphasis on a diverse range of tricks in response to new technical challenges. Accordingly, training response strategies are proposed, such as constructing

competition tactical models, improving the quality of trick design, and strengthening the advantages of technical innovation. In the future, training should be closely aligned with scoring trends to comprehensively enhance athletes' technical reserves, innovation awareness, and psychological adaptability, and provide strong support for trick optimization and scientific training of athletes, thereby helping China's freestyle skiing events achieve continuous new breakthroughs in international competitions.
