Abstract： In the post-Olympic Winter Games era， the excellent traditional Chinese ice and snow sports culture with national characteristics serves as an important foundation for the sustainable development of China's ice and snow undertakings. By exploring the connotation of excellent traditional Chinese ice and snow sports culture， this study finds that at the material level， it presents a dynamic pedigree of game inheritance and community interaction; at the spiritual level， it embodies the in-depth refinement of survival wisdom and ecological ethics; at the organizational level， it forms a systematic model for system construction and technical inheritance. In the contemporary context， this culture boasts prominent contemporary values including the continuation of cultural heritage with diversified vitality， boundary breaking of competitive sports for shared participation by all people， as well as industrial innovation and featured value appreciation. Corresponding inheritance paths are proposed： making strategic planning to lay a solid institutional foundation， promoting event-driven development and technological popularization， and strengthening cultural education to cultivate talents. By improving the construction of institutions， events and talent system， we can expand development space while safeguarding

cultural roots， encourage more people to participate in ice and snow sports， realize two-way empowerment between cultural inheritance and contemporary needs， and inject sustainable impetus into the construction of a leading sporting nation.
