Abstract：UsingasampleofChineseA-share manufacturing enterprises from2O13 to 2O22，this study empirically examines the efects and impact pathways of social network structural embedding on the green innovation of manufac一 turing enterprises through hierarchical regresion.The studyfinds that thecentralityofsocial network structural em一 bedding significantly improves the level of green innovation in enterprises，while the richness ofstructuralholereduc一 esthelevelof greeninnovation.Theconclusionremainsrobustafterabatteryofrobustnesstests.Furtherresearchre一 veals that Digital transformation playsa mediating rolein the impactofsocial network structural embeddingongreen innovation.High ESG performance acts as a moderator that reinforces the positive relationship between network centralityand green innovation，as wellas the negative relationshipbetween structural holesand green innovation.Het一 erogeneityanalysis indicates thatthestrongertheenvironmentalregulation，themoresignificantthepromotingeffect of social network structural embeddingcentralityon green innovation，and thestronger theinhibiting efectofstruc一 turalholes on green innovation.Theresearch findings extendourunderstanding of thediferential efectsof Various dimensions ofsocial network structural embedding on green innovation，providing both atheoretical basis and practical guidance for enterprises to undertake green innovation activities.
