Comparison of systematic microbial community structure and amino acid composition of red tilapia between aquaponics culture and traditional pond culture mode

ABSTRACT: In order to studythediference of microbialcommunity structure and aminoacid compositionofback muscle of red tilapia(Oreochromis spp.)between aquaponics culture(YC)and traditional pond culture(WT),we employed the sequencing platform to carry out high-throughput sequencing on the 16S rRNA gene of microorganisms present in water bodiesand utilizedahigh-performance liquidchromatograph toanalyze and determinethe aminoacid composition within the muscletisues of tilapia under two distinct aquaculture models. Compared to the WT group,the YC group displayed asignificantly higher microbialabundance and diversityin the waterbody.The dominant bacterial phyla included Actinobacteriota,Proteobacteria,Fusobacteriota,Bacteroidota,and Bdelovibrionota.The main dominant genera include Ceto bacterium,Flauobacterium,Aurantimicrobium,Rhodoluna,andCandidatus.Amongthecommondominantgenera,therelative abundance of Cetobacterium in the YC group was significantlyhigher thanthatin the WT group,while therelative abundance of Aurantimicrobium was significantly lower than that in the WT group. Being compared to the WT group,the YC group showed a marked increase in the ratios of total essential amino acids(£EAA)to total amino acids(£AA) and ∑EAA to total non-essential amino acids (£NEAA),while theratioof total umamiamino acids(∑DAA)to∑AA exhibitedasignificant decrease.Theaquaponicsculturehasa more diverse microbial community thanthe traditional pond culture and can improve red oreochromis's dorsal muscle qualityand increase its amino acid nutritional value to some extent.
