The distribution of neuromedin B receptor and tropic hormone protein in porcine pituitary

ABSTRACT: In order to detect the distribution and localization of NMBR and TSHβ ,ACTH, FSHβ ! LHβ proteins in porcine pituitary,parafin sections of porcine pituitary tissue were prepared. The distribution of NMBR, TSHβ ,ACTH, FSHβ and LHβ proteins in porcine pituitary was detected by immunohistochemistry. The co-localization of NMBR and (204号 TSHβ ,ACTH, FSHβ , LHβ proteins in porcine pituitary tropic hormone cells was detected by immunofluorescence. The results showed that in porcine pituitary tissue,NMBR-ir was widely distributed inthe adenohypophysis,and there were strong positive cells in the middle, nodular and distal marginal areas of the adenohypophysis. TSHβ -ir was mainly distributedin the pituitary nodulesanddistal (dorsal and ventral).ACTH-irwas distributed intheadenohypophysis,butthe strong positivecels were mainlylocatedinthe ventraland lateralsidesof thedistalpartof theadenohypophysis.The distribution patterns of FSHβ -ir and LHβ -ir were similar,and the strong positive cells were mainly distributed in the adenohypophyseal nodules and the distal dorsal side. In addition,NMBR-ir and TSHβ ir,ACTH-ir, FSHβ -ir, LHβ irwere colocalizedin theadenohypophysis.Insummary,this studyclarified thedistributionof NMBRand four tropic hormone proteins in porcine pituitary from the morphological aspect,and found that NMBR existed in tropic hormone cels,which laid a foundation for the follow-up study of the role of NMB/NMBR system in porcine pituitary tropic hormone production.
