Abstract: For revealing the influence of mudstone creep and the depth-diameter ratio (a) on the long-term bearing behavior of rock-socketed pile (RSP)in water-rich mudstone area,the strength parameters of mudstone bearing layer and ultimate bearing capacityoffoundation pileofa super high-risebuilding in Jialing River terrace Iare analyzed by using shear creep test,static load test method and finiteelement limit analysis method.The results show thatthe strength parameters ofsaturated mudstone in Jialing River terrace Iare lower than those in natural state in normal water period,and the cohesion decreases by 7.73% and the internal friction angle decreases by 19.58% .The mudstone creep will cause the long-term ultimate bearing capacity of large-diameter rock-socketed pile (LDRSP) to decrease by 10%~30% . The attenuation coefficient of long-term bearing capacity decreases with the increase of the depth-diameter ratio. It is recommended that α should be greater than5for LDRSPin mudstone area.The research conclusions further reveal the long-term bearing mechanism of RSP in water-rich rock area,and provide reference for improving the design method and construction standard of rocksocketed pile foundation in mudstone area.
