纤维材质对内燃机滑动轴承钢表面复合材料摩擦性能的影响

Abstract: Sliding bearings are one of the main friction pairs in internal combustion engines, and the poor friction performance of steel surface composite materials can shorten the service life of sliding bearings. As a high-strength,lightweight,and wear-resistant material,fiber materials have high hardness and good wear resistance, which can resist wear caused by long-term sliding contact. Therefore, a study on the influence of fiber materials on the friction performance of composite materials on the surface of sliding bearing steel for internalcombustion enginesisproposed.Using sisal fiber,polyester fiber,carbon fiber,and ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene as test materials, pure ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE), sisal fiber/ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene composite (SF/UHMWPE),polyester fiber/ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene composite (PETF/UHMWPE),and carbon fiber/ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene composite (CF/UHMWPE) were prepared. Friction performance data were obtained using a reciprocating friction tester, SEM,laser scanning confocal microscope,and Shore hardnesstester.Theanalysis of the experimental results shows that compared to pure UHMWPE,the Shore hardness of the three fiber composite materials increases,the friction coefficient decreases,the degree of wear decreases,and the average wear depth decreases.Among them, the addition of carbon fiber CF has a more significant enhancement effect on the friction performance of composite materials,reducing the friction coefficient by O.09 under the same conditions and minimizing the increase in wear depth.
