Abstract：[Purpose/Significance]Integrating insights fromdomesticandinternationalscholars toexplorethemathematical principlesofinformationscience，proposeaunifieddefinitionof information，andprovideinnovativepathways to address three fundamental challnges：definition，measurement，and evaluationof information.[Method/Process]Refining the Brookes equation bytransformingitsquasi-mathematicalstructure intoan“information-knowledge”interactionmathematical model，validatingthe model’srationalitythrough empiricaldata includingacademic papers，social mediadata， andenvironmentaldata，derivingtheintellgenceequation，andproposingacorrespondingdefinitionofintelligence.This definitionrevealed the mathematical principles underlying intellgence atributes such as decision orientation，timelines， emergence，subjectivity，foresight，and transmissibility，whileenhancing the explanatory powerof inteligencegeneration andevolution within the“IK”and“DIKW”framework.[Result/Conclusion]Applying mathematical principles to unifythe definitionofintellgence，thisresearch proposesanarrowdefinition—“knowledge growthraterelativetoinformation"—and abroad definition—“change rate in DIKWhierarchy”.
