Research on Level Measurement, Spatio-Temporal Differentiation of Carbon Ecological Security in Resource-Based Cities of the Yellow River Basin

Abstract:Iisimedtoprovidereferencsforteintegatedandcordinateddvancementofcarbnologicalsecurityandhiguality economicdevelopmentinresource-basedcitiesoftheYelowRiverBasinBasedonpaneldatafrom37resource-basedcitiesfrom2012to 2021,theTOPSISodelandtheKemelDensityEstimationmodelwereemployedtoevaluatethecarbonecologicalseurityleveladanalyze its spatio-temporal distribution pattern. The o and β convergence models were further used to reveal its evolution characteristics. The resultsshowthat:a)Carbonecologicalsecuritylevelisicreasinginresource-baseditiesyearbyyear,evolvingfroaphaseofoderate increasetooneofrapidgrowth,andanobvious“catchup”efectisinresouce-basedcitiesofthemiddleanddonstream.b)Tedifer encesincarbonseuritylevelsaregaduallynarowingamongrsouce-basdcitiesinteupstreamanddowstream,butthdices in the middlereaches are notobvious.c)Carbon ecological security inresource-based cities ofthe Yelow River Basin shows σ and β convergencetred,whichhasthechracteristicof“dowstreamresource-basedcitiseinghigherthanustreamandmdlereachs”itef convergencereductionandconvergencedegreeItissuggestedthatresources-baseditiesinteYelowRiverBasinsouldbreakadinistrativebonarystrtsfrosticspeieioaleeveiedpas,nclbie motion,strengtenatchpfects,mproveconvergencelevels,soastocievethebalanceofcarbonolgicalscurityacosen tire basin.
