[Abstract]Digital and intellgent digital technologies can help optimize the clinical workflow of edentulous jaw implantrestoration,ignficantlyimprovingprecision,predictabilityandeiencythroughoutallstagesof treatment.Inthepreoperative phase,by acquiring the patient’s digital information model and integrating data with the assistance ofan artificial intelligence-driven planning system, personalized design of implant positions and prosthesis morphologies can be achieved, thereby realizing accuratefunctional and aesthetic matching.During the surgical procedure,the adoption of static implant guides,dynamic navigation systems,or implant robotic systems can efectively enhance surgical precision and minimize patient trauma to the greatest extent.Inthe immediateandfinalrestorationphases,digital impression technologybasedonintraoraland extraoral scanning systems enablesaccurate acquisitionof information regarding implants,as wellashard and soft issues related to edentulous jaw implantation.Among these technologies,theapplicationofAI-asisted algorithms and modified intraoral scanbodies can further improve patientcomfortand chairside work eficiency.When encountering metalrestoration artifact interference,theuseof artifactcorrction algorithms or methods to increaseidentifiable markeroints can both enhancethe fiting precisionofvirtualdata,educe theimpactofmetalartifacts ondata matching,andprovide more reliable data support for digital preoperative planning.For complex edentulouscases,suchas pterygoid implant placement,implantroboticsystemsbasedondigital tree-dimensionalmodelingenablehigh-precisionimplantationwithintraoperativedynamiccalibration,thereby improvingprosthetic predictability.Althoughchallngesremainindata interoperabilityand standardizationofclinical protocols,the integrationof unifieddata standards,comprehensiveintelligentplatforms,and standardizedworkflowsmayfacilitatethestandardizedandintelligentappicationofdigitaltechnologiesin edentulousimplantreabilitation.Itisforeseeablethatinthefuture,digitalandinteligentdigitaltechnologieswillontinue to drive the developmentof theedentulous jawimplantrestoration field,providing patients with more high-quality efficient,and safe implant restoration solutions.
