Abstract： Urban digital culture，as a cultural practice form of the Digital China initiative in urban domain，is conceptually defined by dual dimensions of "digital form of urban culture" and "digital representation of urban culture". Within this context， urban digital culture carres three historical missions：advancing the creative transformation and development of excellnt traditional Chinese culture，fostering new cultural formats and deep cultural-tourism integration，and enhancing the global outreach of China's urban cultural image. Its development is underpinned by the driving force of technological’ infrastructure，the sharing capacity of public digital cultural services，and the innovative impetus of cultural new quality productive forces. To achieve high-quality development，it is necessary to facilitate cross-domain integration and shared use of cultural resource，improve digital infrastructure to optimize the development environment， expand diverse application scenarios to meet public demand，accelerate industrial configuration to unleash the potential of the cultural economy， and establish a full-chain ecosystem encompassing content production，distribution，and consumption.
