A Study on Linguistic Ideology and Cultural Identity in the Joseon Dynasty's Hanje Literature

This study focusesonthe Hanje literatureof the Joseon dynasty.Followingaresearch pathwayof“deconstruction-comparison-interpretati”，iteatallaisitsooloicalxicalmaticaldhograicturs，e ringanin-depthanalysisof thelinguisticideologyembeddedwithinthesetexts.Thefindingsrevealthat Hanjeliterature was not onlyaproductof languagecontactandlocalizationwithintheSinospherebutalsoan importantvehicleforimplementing Hangeul policies，strengtheningculuralidentity，andfacilitatingkowledgediseminatioinJoseonKorea.Throughtextualanalysis，historicalcomparison，andculturalinterpretation，thisstudydemonstratesthattheseworks，byadoptingahybridmodeof“couseof Chinese characters andvernacular gloses”，achieved a nuanced balance between Sinocentric traditionsand indigenous writing practices.Thisvividlyillustratestheunique wisdomofthJoseondynastyinharmonizing its traditionalChineseculturalidentity with ntiveaspirations.Intermsofsholarlycontribution，thisresearchaimsforinnovationinthreeaspects：proposinganewparadigm forstudyinglinguisticideology，pioneringthestudyofnon-canonicaltexts，andintroducingdigitalhumanitis ethodolo gies—thereby providing new perspectives and methodological guidance for researching East Asian linguistic interactions.
