Abstract:To investigate thecompositionofroot endophytic microbialcommunities inpear trees and theircorrelation with hosttree types, this studyanalyzes therootendophyticmicrobialcommunitystructurein7-year-oldarborescentanddwarf pear hybrid populations, using 16SrRNAand ITS high-throughput sequencing technologies.Theresults demonstrate thatthe root endophytic bacterialcommunity inthe dwarf pear population exhibits significantcorrelations with tre height, trunk circumference, andtrunk diameter, whereas thearborescentpear populationshows nosuch significantcorrelations.Thecooccurrence networksof endophyticbacteriaandfungi in thedwarf populationaremorecomplex than those in the arborescentpopulation.Specifically, the dwarf population predominantly enriches bacterial taxa such as Bacteroidotaand Cyanobacteria, whilethearborescentpopulationenriches bacterial taxasuchasProteobacteria. For fungi, thedwarf populationmainlyenriches fungaltaxasuchasAscomycota, whereas thearborescent population enriches fungaltaxasuch as Basidiomycota. Both dwarf and arborescent pear populations shape their own distinct bacterial and fungal microbial communities.
