Abstract： This study conducts a retrospective analysis of key issues pertaining to data elements，aiming to deepen understanding and expand the scope of exploration based on existing practices and research achievements，thereby advancing thedigitalandintelligent transformationof thearchivalfieldundertheguidanceofdataelementization.Thisstudyisbased on practical experiences and conducts areviewandanalysis of practices such asarchives'involvement indata circulation andtransactions，archives'integrationintotheactionsytemofdataelementvaluation，archives'leadingroleintherelease ofvalue fromdata elements，andthe discussioncenters onthe followingthemes：theuntapped potentialofarchives indata elementexploration，thearchivalconeptsfordiscussngdataelement，theintrinsicvalueofarchives'dataelements，practical pathwaysforthevalueofarchives'dataelements，andinsightsdrawnfromdataelements toinformthedigitalandintelligent transformationofrchivalendeavors，toaddressandbroadencriticalissuesfacingthearchivalfeldinrelationtodataelements.
