Abstract： Data elementization has become acrucial orientation for various undertakings to integrate into the Digital China construction.Underthebackgroundofthelinkeddatastrategyarchivalworkhasincreasinglyhighlightedtheexplorationof dataelementization.During the14thFive-YearPlanperiod，thearchivalfeldtookdataelementsasacoretopicinacademic research and scientific projects，and formed aseriesofachievements onconcepts，theories，methodsand practicalpaths from diversified perspectives.Inpractice，innovativeoutcomes wereachieved during this period inpromoting the innovative constructionofdatacause，participatinginthedevelopmentofthedataelementmarket，andexploringsubjectivepaths.Forthe 15thFive-YearPlanperiod，theelementizationofarchivaldatacanbeexpected todeepen theoreticalcontributionsofarchival scienceunder theguidanceofdataelementization，advancetheparticipationofarchives indatacauseconstruction，tapthe market-oriented potential of the archival sector，and expand data elementization practices led by archives.
